AirSeparate
AirSeparate is a Java gui wrapper for the AIR 3.08 (Roger Woods, UCLA) separate program.
Separate separates 3-dimensional
image files
into a series of 2-dimensional images.

Invocation
java AirSeparate
This starts up the java interpreter and runs the AirSeparate
application. You need to have
set up your environment for java
in order for this to work.
AirSeparate is also available in the AirToolChest, GlobalWorkbench and GlobalDesktop computing environments.

Information to be entered
- Input image files:
Use the drop down menu to select input type and then use browse to select your input image files.
- Output image directory:
This field is used to specify the directory that the output images will be created in.
- Output prefix:
This field is used to specify a prefix for each of the images of the sequence generated (i.e. prefix001.img, prefix002.img, etc.). You cannot edit this field unless Autocreate prefix is turned off.
- Overwrite existing files:
If you want to overwrite existing files with the same name set this to on. If it is set to off and preexisting names are encountered the utility will inform you in the run window.
